Ohara Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest The sandy Ohara is a wide expanse of land nestled between cakes of mountain rock and littered with dead trees. The Derbaran military took control of this land early on, patrolling it with tanks to prevent NIU forces from advancing into nearby villages.
Havana Channel: BG/UO; Deatchmatch/Conquest Air strikes have failed to dislodge the rebels from the city of Havana. NIU troops have set up positions with mounted .50 cals and settled into the shells of partially destroyed buildings to wait for the inevitable ground invasion by Derbaran troops. Sure enough, tanks, K200s, and Humvees rumbled into the streets and a full-scale ground war is now in progress around the central clock tower.
Emblem Channel: BG/UO; Deatchmatch/Conquest Once a training camp, the hills of Emblem are mostly empty; the military opted to move several scientists (and their projects) into the barracks to get them away from combat zones. After learning of Emblem’s location, the NIU have been quietly making their way towards the camp, staying close to the hills and dodging watchtower sentries.
Cantumira Channel: BG/UO; Deatchmatch/Conquest Cantumira is considered highly valuable due to its loading dock, which leads straight to a major highway. The Derbaran have been using the main road as a supply line, protecting it with armored escorts and MD500 attack choppers. The NIU have already seized a chokepoint base along the highway, and are building up their forces before they move on the rest of the line.
Odyssey Channel: BG/UO; Deatchmatch During an aerial battle over Alberon, two Blackhawk helicopters were separated from the battle and forced down upon a mysterious, uncharted island. The survivors of the crash had to put their differences aside and work together in order to endure the harsh new environment. In order to ward off the boredom of island life, the lost troops created competitions to keep from going insane. After they were rescued, the N.I.U. and Derbaran forces agreed that more formal events would be established on the island christened "Odyssey".
Conturas Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest Several rivers run through the Conturas mainland, creating a rich and fertile soil upon which the local have become dependant. The Derbaran military confiscated the land shortly after increasing its aerial combat capabilities, and the local farmers and tradesmen now work under the roar of F15s and Rafale fighters launching from their hangars.
Engrene Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest Although lacking in tactical advantage, the Engrene airfields provided the Derbaran with ample training ground for budding A-10 pilots. The Engrene strip is also dotted with vehicle bays containing tanks and anti-air vehicles. More recently, there have been reports that the airstrip hangars contain some evidence of the War Rock project.
Pargona Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest The Pargona islands became a point of contention early on in the war, as they provide a wide range of tactical advantages, particularly as a control point for the Derbaran coast. Both the Derbaran and NIU forces have a strong presence on the islands, having established multiple bases and armor bays.
Pargona East Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest While regarded as a lesser wartime priority than the main Pargona archipelago, Pargona East has also been developed for the same purposes and is currently in NIU hands.
Thamugadi Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest Thamugadi, the base of operations for the N.I.U., is located in the abandoned village of Synek in the northern desert of Derbaran. The N.I.U. are ready for a fight from their heavily fortified positions, luckily the Derbaran's came prepared with Chinook and Apache helicopters. This is where the civil war began, and if the Derbaran Military has their way, where it ends.
Crater Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest This is where it all began. The meteor that fell from the heavens, dubbed the War Rock by military scientists, landed where this massive crater now scars the land. The N.I.U. are continuously attempting to gain control over the site so they may conduct research on the crater. Meanwhile, the Derbaran Military maintains a significant presence here in order to keep any information about the War Rock from falling into enemy hands.
Cloud Forest Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest Deep within the jungles of the Derbaran east, the Derbaran Military scientist's are conducting research that could potentially unlock the mysteries of the War Rock. The N.I.U. discovered the location of this secret base after intense interrogation of a captured Derbaran commander and are now moving to assault the hidden military bunker in the area known as Cloud Forest.
Winter Forest Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest A freak snowstorm has covered this jungle which conceals the secret research facility Artifact. Normally known as Cloud Forest, the winter weather adds an interesting twist to this area. Most noticeably, snipers are much easier to spot against the bright white backdrop.
Disturm Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest A testament to the military might of pre-civil war Derbaran, Disturm is rumored to house a Hamina warship, one of the only Destroyer-Class vessels in the country.
Bandar Channel: BG; Deatchmatch/Conquest The second largest port, Bandar primarily serves as a trade hub. Its poor tactical location makes it far from ideal for Military shipments, although the N.I.U. has been known to use this to its advantage.
