F2P stands for Free2Play. All accounts on WarRock when they start off are F2P, but you can upgrade to P2P if you want. P2P stands for Pay2Play, this is where you pay GamersFirst for either Bronze, Silver or Gold premium. In the game you get a different outter effect around your rank depending on what type of accounf you have. Eg. People with Gold premium will have Gold around their rank, but people who are F2P have a dull grey around theirs.

In War Rock, there are currently two factions. When you choose a side and join a game in progress, or start a new one, you will be sided with all the other players in your faction. You cannot harm one another. In this sense, you are very much a part of a squad or party. The number of players supported depends on the current game mode. Clans will have a clan tag before their name and will be supported at release via a separate web site.

One of the primary differences between War Rock and other FPS games is that we run our own servers. In doing so, we are able to moderate the environment to ensure a consistent and enjoyable experience for all players.

This includes but is not limited to removing users from the game, closing accounts, and disallowing certain PCs to connect to War Rock. They are also the in-game communication point between K2 Network and the players in the game. They are able to answer general questions regarding War Rock.

GMs do not give out EXP, Dinar, or Weapons in normal rooms; however, GMs may run events from time to time which may have rewards associated with them. These events are always planned and announced in either the forum, the in-game lobby, or as an in-game message. Unfortunately, GMs will be unable to open up special rooms by request.

Process Guard is a security program that locks the Windows process or blocks the ability of a new process to be started. If a PC Café is using this software, Punkbuster will be blocked from being started and you will be kicked from the game in the first few minutes of game play.

War Rock is a Peer to Peer game and as such it consumes 2 to 4 times the normal amount of bandwidth as most FPS games. Some PC Cafés may monitor or use software to perform network shaping to stop or slow down Peer to Peer applications. BitTorrent is one such application, and many PC Cafés block its use because of the amount of bandwidth it consumes; this can affect other games in the PC Café. Depending on the PC Café’s internal and external network connection it may affect War Rock players especially if there are multiple War Rock games being played in the PC Café. The faster the PC Café’s connection both upload and download speeds will reduce the lag the player may have.

Some other software programs such as virus scanners, firewalls and Internet security software packages are suspicious of any new services and kernel drivers when they are first released. Some of these will block the new Punkbuster components, thereby causing the "Losing Key Packets" error. Until these various packages are updated to correctly identify PnkBstrA.exe, PnkBstrB.exe, and PnkBstrK.sys as components of the PunkBuster Anti-Cheat System, players who experience PunkBuster kicks due to these conflicts need to either manually adjust the settings of the other software running on their system or disable the other software while playing on War Rock Intermittent network connection between the player and the game/PB master server can also cause this error.
